- workshops on introduction to advocacy
- assistance with the founding of support clubs – Friends of libraries 
- advisory activities regarding the regional divisions activities
- publishing promotional material and newsletters

Activities 2006-2007
- continuation of of the CLA (Croatian Library Association) members' training in public advocacy through workshops within the CSSU (elementary and advanced workshop) and through conferences
- translation of IFLA guidelines on the management of the library associations
- design of the Advocacy Working Group Web site

Activities 2008 - 2010

Activities in 2008
- drafting of the library advocacy strategy proposal
- continuation of training through workshops within the CSSU and conferences
- expansion of the Work group Web site and translation of contents into English
- implementation of the library advocacy strategy – publishing address books of public administration bodies targeted for library advocacy on the national, county, and local levels respectively, in cooperation with the Committee for free access to information and freedom of speech, the Committee for government information and official publications, and regional associations,

Activities in 2009
1. implementation of the library advocacy strategy 
  - drafting of the programme of advocacy for members of regioal    associations, in cooperation with regional associations
  - organizing I have right to know, I have right to the library - campaign
  - work on the committe for drafting the proposal for the marking of the Croatian Library Day
 2. continuation of education through CSSU workshops and conferences
 3. drafting of the Guidelines for advocacy
