The primary purpose of the Information Technology Commission is to monitor 
standards, regulations, principles and practices in the field of information technology
in librarianship, and to translate and develop guidelines for their application 
in Croatia. From this basic purpose comes the work on the permanent education 
of librarians for the application of information technology in order to improve the
work of libraries.
